Pasture Penned Rabbit

Having tried a variety of set ups for the rabbits, I have found, so far that the least restrictive environment that allows me to be able to actually get a hold of a rabbit when needed are the pens that measure anywhere from 4x8 ft to 6x8 ft. They are on the ground in a pasture with a lattice paneled bottom to prevent digging out but allows grasses to grow thru and able to graze on the grasses that grow within each pen.  They are moved as the grass is eaten, an supplemental feed offered to keep them in good weight.  I am still experimenting with non- pelleted diet.
